Travel and Hospitality
The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route”, is one of the most popular and oldest trails on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the only route offering hut accommodations instead of tents, providing more comfort for climbers. This 6-day itinerary (recommended for better acclimatization) offers a gradual ascent through diverse landscapes, including lush rainforests, moorlands, and the alpine desert, culminating at the summit, Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
The Marangu Route is ideal for first-time climbers or those looking for a relatively easier climb with structured accommodations.
